NFS driving me crazy! Can't write!

I've recently started running Slackware 9 on my 2 computers. I've set up NFS and can see and use files on my other computer, but can't write to it. I've browsed through the forums, checked slackware essintials, and read the man files. What am I missing?

Here's my fstab:

/dev/hdb3 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/hdb2 / reiserfs defaults 1 1
/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,owner,ro 0 0
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto noauto,owner 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0 /home/mother nfs defaults,rw 0 2
/dev/hda1 /mnt/windoze ntfs defaults,ro 1 2
/dev/hda5 /mnt/windozedata ntfs defaults,ro 1 2

and my exports on the other computer:

/home/sean/shared (rw,sync,no_root_squash)

I hate asking because I feel like I'm missing something stupid.

/home/sean/shared (rw,sync,no_root_squash)
what are the permissions set on each of these directories??? ..../home/sean/shared
you have to have write access set on each of them

I got pretty frustrated with it.. I set it all to wide open rxwrxwrxw. the owner is sean and the groupis users. I made the "sean" account identical on both computers.

Same problem here... how come we can't change the owner and the groups on that one? -_-
