NFS and NFS on Windows

T have two questions.
I have just upgraded my data server to Fedora 27 and put NFS on it to use to the other linux machines, two of which run Fedora 26 and one runs Fedora 18. There are also two Windows machines and two Windows machines one running Windows 10 (Laptop) and the other Windows 7. All machines are on the same network and all machines have a fixed IP address. The share directory had had chmod 0777 applied.

Question 1
I have NFS client set up and working on the two linux Fedora 26 machines. I can read and write the files from the Server with no issues. So it would appear that the /etc/exports file has been set up ok

However when I try to mount the NFS share on the Fedora 18 machine I get an error say it can not be mounted. However, when the server was Fedora 16 and using NFS the Fedora 18 machine worked as expected with NFS and I could read and right all the files on the server from the Fedora 18 machine.
So I am trying to get my NFS client Fedora 18 Machine to talk to the NFS FEDORA 27 Server. IS there some incompatibility between NFS on Fedora 18 and Fedora 27. like version 3 and version 4 of NFS. Do I need to put VR=3 or something similar into the mount command on the Fedora 18 ?

Second question.
I have gone through the Microsoft set up to run NFS on Windows 10, I can mount the share no problem. See all the folders and files. However I can only open the files as "Read Only" How do I get to write file s and save files from the Windows 10 machine. (I get the same results the Windows 7 machine.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please.
