New to Slackware 13.37. Perplexed on how to connect to the internet in X environment.

lspci lists both my cards. XFCE and KDE state that they can not parse the XML file. XFCE does not see my network cards neither does KDE. I use Verizon FIOS as a home user. Does anyone know how to connect? I am perplexed....

Have you installed WICD from the /extra directory on the install dvd? This is the easiest way to handle connections graphically.
