Lightbulb new to linux


i just interested in linux by seeing my brother working, i want to learn it and use it for networking purpose. can i get details of how it can be used in maintaing a network?

I'm sorry to inform you that your question is a bit too broad, and you're not likely to get answers...

Linux has excellent networking support, except when a particular driver is missing of course, but in the networking area, there are not a lot of those (except maybe for WiFi).

So you should maybe give some more details on what exactly you want to do.
