New FTP Query

Hi All ,

We are using Linux 2.1 Advanced Server . We have enabled wu-ftpd on our server . When we try to FTP to this server we get following response . What must have gone wrong ? We are using default settings as far as FTP-config files are concerned .
$ftp myserver
Connected to myserver.
500 myserver FTP server shut down -- please try again later.
ftp>

Please help .

See if you have and /etc/shutmsg file. If so, try removing it.
