new domain doesnt work yet?

Hi,

i registered a domain last nite on network solutions.

i checked out a few whois sites and one (www.centralops.net) states my bind dns server but says host not found?

when i tired to send an email to freeserver i get:

----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
<xxxxxx@xxxxx.freeserve.co.uk>
(reason: 550-Verification failed for <xxxxx@cream-cake.com>)

----- Transcript of session follows -----
... while talking to mail-in.pol.net.uk.:
>>> DATA
<<< 550-Verification failed for <xxxxx@cream-cake.com>
<<< 550-Unrouteable address
<<< 550 Sender verify failed
550 5.1.1 <xxxxxx@xxxxx.freeserve.co.uk>... User unknown
<<< 503 valid RCPT command must precede DATA

is this error just due to the fact the changes havent propogated around the net yet?

i did it yesterday at 10pm UK time.

thanks

it takes about 3 days to propagate totally around the internet. 24 hours isn't enough time to determine if a problem exists or not. If you still have problems after 3 days, then it's a good idea to look into it.

Looks like the changes have not propogated. Hope the Network Solutions site is able to resolve your domain and responds to the whois.

So you are all set now.
