Networking with windows domain machines problem
Hi all
I'm running a Mankrake Box (9.2) as a server for development (CVS etc).
We're developing from Windows boxes and updating and building our code on the server.
Now for the problem.
We are part of a larger company that provides the Internet access and network support for us. In order to use the Internet access we are required to be logged on the the domain. Our server is not on this domain ( Mandrake box). Samba shares and X server only works when we try to access them from our local machine (not logged on to the domain).
Is it possible to access a linux box (not on a domain) from a windows domain machine? If so it means my samba configuration (and xserver) is wrong?
If I can not log into the linux box from the domain, my next option is to put the linux box on the domain aswell?
I hope my question is clear, otherwise just say and I will rephrase.
Thanks
