Networking with phoneline

I am install debian on computer A. Computer B is connect to the internet via ethernet through a router. I want computer A to connect to the internet through computer B. Computer B has windows XP. I am still trying to install debian because I'm using just one cd and need the packages off the internet. I set the XP computer so the incomming connections could connect to the internet. How do I set the debian computer to get the updates through the other computer?

Nevermind that question. It got answered. I have a new question.

I will be linking them together with a serial cable but I need to configure the server to allow the computer to connect to the internet from it. I don't know what to search for, so can someone point me to a guide to follow. Both computers have debian (woody).

Well you would have to setup a PPP connection across the serial cable, which will be complicated. Is there a special reason why you don't just put an extra network card in the WinXP box and use an Ethernet connection instead?

ergh... listen to him.. get a hub or something! ;P Serial cables are way slow!!! and just very hard to setup getting it all hooked up on a network is a much more viable option.
