Networking Suse9.3 with Mac X.3 Server
 

Hello Linux Brethren,
We have a Macintosh network running X.3 Server. We would like to make daily backups onto a 680gig Dell PowerEDGE running Suse 9.3 Pro. Anybody have a clue how to go about this? What services on the Suse box need to be running in order for the Mac to see it as an LDAP client? Does the LDAP BIND come into play here? Should we use something else like KERBEROS instead? Any help whatsoever would be appreciated.
