networking suse 10 and xp over bluetooth

hi

sorry about the noob style Q but im still figuring linux out

i have connected the two computers (one on suse 10 and the other on xp) to a network over bluetooth, and i have no idea where to go from here...

i have a proxy server set up on my xp machine, but when i type in the proxy details into firefox on the linux machine, it refuses to connect - someone said this was because i hadnt configured the linux machine to connect to the network? but i dont know

i use a microsoft workgroup over bluetooth to link my other PC's

could anyone help me get the linux box on the internet using this proxy - if you need any other information please tell me and i'll get it for you

cheers

brian
