networking Linux (redhat), Macintosh OS9 and windows 2000

I got a redhat. running as my network file server (samba server).
the redhat got 2 nic card. 1 to cable modem , 1 to the DI-704 -4 port router. The router got it own ip. when i connect my win2k to the router. i got a good connetion but when i connect to macintosh. i recieve no response. only 1 link light is UP on my network card. Will that be the nic problem or the router or the configuration?

You must have TCP/IP installed on OS/2

you must install the NetBIOS over TCP/IP protocol, and set the logical adapter number to 1.

check the ibmlan.ini file for tcpbeui settings

netbeui will be 0

and tcpbeui will be 1
