Networking in Linux with Linksys Router

Hi,

I used VMWare on Windows 2000 Pro and created Two (2) Red Hat Linux servers.

So, I have ONE Win2K and TWO Linux servers. My network is cable modem with Linksys router (I don't have static ip from ISP). I also have XP Office laptop. I am trying to configure static ip for Win2K and Linux. My laptop needs to use dhcp because it is office property.

I need some suggestions on working on my network issues.

Thanks,
Venkata.

Your router should have an option somewhere on it (check on an advanced tab, or the tab where DHCP is), and you can "hard code" an IP address through DHCP that way.
