I have a toshiba laptop with a built in modem and a wireless networking card and running puppy 5 or better. I can not use the dial up modem and my wireless network at the same time. If I configure the modem I can not use the network. If I configure the network first and then try to use dial up and connect then the web browser does not function. It is like one or the other. Only one network icon in the system tray will come up at a time. My modem is not on my home network. Any help? Is there a version that will? I am trying to get rid of windows but windows does recognise 2 networks at time. Thanks, Ken

It is not like one or the other, it is really one or the other.

You can only have one gateway address in one of the connections for the most part. Take the gateway address out of the wireless and put in a private IP range for home use.
