network with cable crossover

Hi
I'm a newbie in Linux and i installed a distribution there i'like it named Zenwalk based in Slackware.
I've got two machines, one with windows and another with Linux and a cable crossover between them to make a small network.
I configure network in the machine with linux and the two cards, eth0 and eth1. Eth0 receive from a cable modem and the eth1 make's the connection with windows.
I can connect to internet in the box linux, i can see and modify the files on the shared network but i can not get acess to internet in the box windows
If someone can help me i appreciate
Sorry about my englih is not very well.
Best thanks to all

Thanks for the help but in the search i made i see that comand for the Masquerade and i do it
"iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE"
I have tried but nothing
Now i'm going to try this one:
modprobe iptable_nat
iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE
