Network strategy

Hello,

I've 3 PCs in my privat network (Ethernet 100TBase). Under WinME/Win95 it's very easy to see and transfer files from one to an other PC.
I've installed NFS under Suse 7.3 that means I've edit /etc/hosts, /etc/fstab, /etc/exports I've mkdir a lot of mountpoints on all PCs. At the end I've always a point that I can't see a Dir or can't copy a file as an unresolved right- issue.
As a work around, I do a rlogin on the maschine where I serch things and afterwards chmod 777 *.
I'm working alone in the net, how can I simplify the things to brows and cp/mv files from one maschine to an other.

even, when one maschins is Win and others are Linux ?

Thanks for some explanations

Ramon

i think.........

what i understood is that you need samba to share your files between windows and linux, let me know if i'm wrong.

I don't know, with NFS under Linux it works sometimes ?!?
With Linux and Win I didn't succeed yet.
