Network statistics module

Hello, I'm doing a project about collecting packets from the memory kernel.

Do you know about a kernel module in which network statistics are collected directly from the kernel memory?

Thank you.

I have to figure out, how to transfer paquets from the kernel memory to a hard disk. And I'm looking for a module who handle packets,in order to modify it.

Hello again, I have taken info from /proc, ifconfig, netstat... time ago . This was the first part of my project. I had to take info at high traffic rate and collect statistics.

Now, I have to receive more traffic in the same computer, with another strategy. So, I have thought about collecting packets from the kernel memory, once they are copied by the DMA. And I'm looking for a kernel module (maybe a network statistics module), so I can modify it in order to handle packets from the kernel memory.
