I'm looking for a help. Sorry for being messy - I just installed Suse 9.2 on Dell Latitude CPi P2 366 Mhz (Windows 98 dual boot). It seems to work in general but I've got problems while trying to activate my network (I'm not going to use modem, just want to have ethernet).

First, the network card looks to be identified

after cardctl ident :

Socket 1: product info: Xircom CreditCard Ethernet 10/100 + Modem 56, CEM 56

But it complained about eth0 not being configured and there was no info in YaST2 (Network cards to be configured: other (not detected)) - so I addded Ethernet Network card configured with DHCP manually. Well, in the list of hardware my card is also listed under "other" devices...

Then, if

Moreover, if I want to shut down, I'm getting something like:

Sorry again for the description - but I don't know much about suse 9.2...
