Network problem in suse 9
 

Hello,
I'm having problems to connect to a network in suse, it doesnt find my etho connection when it starts up, it always reports it to have failed.
I not sure what is wrong, i have used the commands that go something like ifup and ipdown but they are not recognised.
What can i do to get suse working?
Some one referred me to a website but i found it hard to understand!
Can anyone help?

Have you installed KDE? If yes, go to the control center and search for your network device. You can then activate it through the control center. I found Suse really helpfull there.

I have the KDE installed but It see my device which I activate but it doesn't find it upon starting!
I goes through the set up process fine though!
