Network Problem


Hi!

I have a problem with my network,I'm using fedora for the first time and when I try to connect to the other 2 linux clients of my network the following error apeers: "unable to show "smb:///" because Nautilus can't connect to main browser smb.check if smb server is running in local network". please help me,I really need to get my network going.

is there a master browser in your LAN? there must be a master browser in your LAN. otherwise u can see this error. edit "smb.conf".. change the following line

local master = yes

restart your smaba server. it must work.

why are you using samba with all linux ? You should use nfs
