Network printing with Windows? Little different, I think.

Hi all, I have a question. I think Samba will come into play here, but I'm not sure.

Ok, I have a RH 8 box that is my server/router for internet access to a small network of other Windows based machines. My linux box is running samba ok, and all the windows machines can see it, and vice versa. The hostname for the linux server is "goliath". On mt personal PC (hostname "gemini", Windows XP Pro), I have a laser printer which is shared. All other windows computers in the house can print to it fine. What I want to know is how can I set up the linux server to print to THAT. Once again, the printer is NOT hooked up to the server, but to the windows machine, gemini. Is this possible, and if so, how do I set this up? I'd appreciate it. Also, I have NEVER printed something from a Unix machine before, so how do I do it from the command line. Please be advised that I do not ever use the linux GUI, only command line. I'd appreciate any help ya'll could offer!

Here is previous discussion on this same topic. :)

See if the smbspool utility will help. :)

Good luck!

Peace...
