Network Manager vpn

Hi, does anyone know how to get networkmanager to redial a vpn? I have a vpn connection that is sometimes hard to connect too (busy server) and there doesnt seem to be a redial function built in. So if it cant connect it gives an error msg and stops and I have to manually press it again and again until i connect. Depending on the time of day it can take a while and it would be nice if there was a fix to make it retry until it gets a connection. Anyone? Im using linux Mint.
