it's a gvfs (gnome virtual filesystem) backend for smb.
you should have it.
it might be included in another package.

try 'apt search gvfs smb' or 'apt search gvfs' and see what you see.

The problem has fixed itself!
The network folder is working now.

Ok, the gvfs-backends package (which is installed) includes the required smb and smb-browse backends...
