Network Interfaces question

Hi, I have a server that handles routing. It has two network interfaces. One interfaces is set statically (the LAN), the other is set to DHCP (my ISP side). My resolv.conf file is dynamically created with resolvconf based off of my /etc/network/interfaces file. Here's my problem, it places my ISP DNS serves ahead of my statically configured LAN DNS servers. That works fine when I look up an external name, but when I go to look up an internal name, it times out before it gets to my internal DNS server that specified in the LAN configuration. Is there a way to get rid of my ISP DNS server. In the Gnome network settings, there's an option for DHCP (Address Only), so that you can aquire an IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Route via DHCP, but be able to statically set your DNS servers. Is there an option like this in the /etc/network/interfaces file.

I figured out the answer to the question. I'm posting the answer just in case anyone needs it. I was reading another forum which referenced the /etc/dhcp/dhclient.conf file. Their solution worked, but I found my own solution. You can insert the line "prepend domain-name-servers x.x.x.x", which will move the dns server you specify above the ones you acquire via DHCP in the resolv.conf file. Their solution was to change the request options in that file so that you don't request them in the first place. Both work. Just thought I'd share
