Question Network install - TFTP, DHCP, but do I need NFS?

Hi,
I'm currently attempting to install Debian PowerPC on a New World Mac that doesn't have a DVD drive by using the DVD drive on my Linux box.

Details:
- Sarge Debian DVD set
- Server: [coredistro] Linux 2.6.11.7 #1 SMP i686
- Install target: PowerPC, iMac Blueberry
- Wireless network

Done:
1. Installed and configured dhcpd and tftpd on Linux machine (and mounted DVD)
2. Created /home/tftpd/public and created symbolic links to [/mnt/cdrom/install/yaboot /mnt/cdrom/install/powerpc/initrd.gz /mnt/cdrom/install/powerpc/vmlinux]
3. Created my own /home/tftpd/public/yaboot.conf (see below)
4. Entered NewWorld Open Firmware on iMac
5. Booted from enet:0
6. At linux boot prompt hit enter and successfully loaded DVD installer

The installer loads fine but then I'm asked for the CD! I'm obviously missing something basic here. How do I tell the installer to continue to use tftp rather than the CD drive in the iMac?

I tried the Debian netboot install image but I'd prefer to use the DVD's I have rather than download all the files or setup the server as a mirror.

Finally I'm assuming I can use tftp - or do I have to re-compile the Linux machine for NFS support? (I was hoping to avoid this) And if I did have to support NFS - how would I tell the Debian installer to use this?

Thanks in advance.

Just a guess but at the boot prompt check whether there are any attributes you need to set to install over the net. Sounds like your booting the default installer
