Network install of Fedora Core2 64-bit
I'm not 100% sure that this is the right place to put this post, but I figured it was a bit complex for the newbie forum and it probably would be to generalized for the Fedora forum, so here it is. I'm running a windows computer with an athlon 64-bit processor and want the 64-bit version of Fedora Core 2 to dual boot w/ windows. Normally I would just install by cd's, but I've been having some problems with that lately, so I thought I'd just do it over the network so I won't have to burn, and it should install faster. Every computer on this network is Windows, just incase you need to know that. Anyway, I need to know exactly how to do a network installation. I say exactly, because I'm a total n00b with linux. I can manuver through the file system with the console, open programs with it, and use the gui, but that's about it, so please be very specific. If you're talking about windows, I'll know what you're talking about, so don't worry about making any windows instructions you might have to give me simple, I know windows inside and out. I've been without Linux now for almost 2 years and I really miss it, so please help me! If you need any extra info on the network, or nodes, just let me know. Thanks in advance!
