Network error when dhcp issues ip address

TO ALL:

I have centos 6.5 loaded on my cpu a Dell Demension E520. I have modified the ifcfg-eth0 file so it would get an ip address for the eth0 card and it does.

Then i plugged in a wireless nic card and did a service network restart, but I do not get an ip addreass for WLAN0? Is there anything I need to change to make this work? And now is not the time to change my cpu.

Thanx,
cajunchief

Try:

Code:
#! /bin/bash
ifconfig wlan0
iwconfig wlan0 essid NETWORK_NAME key WIRELESS_KEY
dhclient wlan0
OR

Use network manager to manage your wifi card for you:
