Question Network Device Control (Gnome 2.8)

Using Fedora Core 3, Gnome 2.8.

Question

1) Every time I boot up my linux box, I saw the status window 'bringing up interface ISP connection', when I check the Network Device Control, it's already activated.

I've already unchecked the option 'Activate when computer starts' at the Network Device Control.
But still activated every time I log on my linux box.

Any help will be appreciate!
Please help me!
