network config w/ DHCP during slack setup

im trying to install slack10 on my TP 240x, tried doing it via a PCMCIA cd-rom drive - its detected but when i try to select [CD/DVD] as a source nothing is found (if anyone has any advice on this, it'd be gladly appriciated).

i want to download the Slack10 iso files, mount them on a seperate partition and install from there.

here's what ive done so far,

- booted with bare.i floppy image
- loaded both install.* floppies
- loaded pcmcia.dsk floppy [network card seems to be detected as it lights up and the name is displayed, ifconfig shows an eth0 device also]
- created a main linux partition (/hda1)
- created a partition to hold the iso's (/hda5, mounted @ /iso)
- created swap partition (/hda6)

im stuck here, i exit the setup program to try and "wget" the 2 ISO images but i have no idea how to setup my network card with DHCP.

any ideas?

thanks

nope, drivers for the card aren't on the network.dsk floppy. it's already recognized anyway.
