I am getting the following error using REDHAT 9:

eth0 has an alias to module e100 in modules.conf, instead of currently loaded module orinoco_cs

I searched the forum but could not find any information related to this topic. I am a newbie so any information would be appreciated.

I know this is a silly question, but is that the correct driver for the chipset on the card?

yes it is. the os automatically detects the intel pro/100 and seems to install driver but then it craps out for no particular reason?

I am clueless on this one. I would try this.

Shut the pc down remove the card. Allow kudzu to remove the config. Shutdown reinstall the card and allow kudzu to refind it. Other than that, I can't help much more than that because I bet you have already tried what I would have.
