Okay, before Aussie explodes in a blinding cloud of sarcasm. A sure fire supported NIC: anything which uses the 3com 3c59x module. I've fought with dozens of NICs and had a little chuckle getting these to work. Or more to the point, putting the card in, flipping the machine on, and then immediately starting to surf because the stuff is just that good! No wonder they used to cost $120 new! The ones that use that mod?
3Com590 - 3com905 (and everything inbetween)

That is of course assuming your machine is PCI. If its ISA: Again! 3Com! These jokers should give me a kickback. Try to find an Etherlink III 3c509.

Where to shop? Uh, der... Pricewatch

Cheers,

Finegan

I recommend www.Computer Shopper.com. The majority of the time they have the cheapest prices on anything for computers.
