My computer has 2 Operating systems, Windows XP and Ubuntu.
But with windows I can go online but Ubuntu can't find the network card.
How should I solve this?

can you tell us the make & model of the card.

also can you open a terminal and run:

sudo ifconfig

and

sudo ifconfig -a

sudo lspci

then show the output....

it doesnt appear that your network card is being detected at all. which is really wierd, coz that card class is pretty common. so if it's working in windows xp i can't explain.

does it work with a live CD like DSL?
