Kinda new but in depth...
Much I am new to Linux Red Hat 7.3 .. Getting really hands on now.
I used to work with Caldera LONG ago but I forgot alot, If you don't use it you lose it... so I am starting all over again.
3 questions....
1) What application do I use to browse a network ( novell network)... that has a MS Proxy server on it running NT4.0 as domain controller? IE Looking for MS widows explorer counter part.
2) Can I use a Linux box as a router using 2 dsl lines? IE I have 2 dsl Lines I don't want to get into a router if I don't Have to...
HSRP from Cisco allows a user to create a virtual ip address with 2 dsl line using one with load balance abilities between the 2 lines.
Linux is very robust I am hoping I can use it for this? and run my proxy server to this for external port 80 traffic .
3) Has anyone found out if Novell will or has Novell created anything for Linux? CaN I use Linux in a NDS environment with any applications Alliterative for Group Wise in GNOME or KDS? Novell Client ? Is there any good websites for newbies?
Thanks in advance.
Jeff
