Hi Everyone

i am using 2 mb leased line for our network

I am getting the bandwidth through cisco peri mt Router

And then it is come to the firewall

whichis our gateway(where public ip to private ip route)

The thing is utilization of network goes high

At the moment how can i monitor which host,which

application and which person is downloading it

How can monitor it

And please suggest me good free monitoring tools

for network protocols like http,ftp,smtp,pop3

and so on

Helping this issue will be very much appriciated

i'd suggest configuring the cisco router to send netflow data to a linux server running ntop. this will give you a break dow of every single ip flow that runs through the router.
