Netgear MA401, RedHat 7.3
I was looking around the forum but I could not find what I was looking for (if it exists please reply with a link to an earlier discussion).

I would like to get my new Netgear MA401 installed, I have Red Hat 7.3. I can't find the drivers required for this. I was on, and went to the FTP server, but I have no idea which download to accept for my version of red hat. I am pretty sure my kernel is 2.4.18-3, but I do not know how to verify this.

To find out what kernel you have, open a terminal and type 'uname -a'. You'll get something like this:

root@scarface log]# uname -a
Linux scarface 2.4.18-14 #1 Wed Sep 4 12:13:11 EDT 2002 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux

[root@scarface log]#

The 3rd value there '2.4.18-14' is my kernel version.

As far as previous posts, all I could really find was this link:

The setup in that post is a bit different (he's using RH8 & a PCI adapter to host his Netgear MA401), but I thought there may be some relevant information and links in there.

If all else fails, prehaps try searching ?

If I see anything else related, I will re-post a link here.

Good luck!
