net send in linux
hai all
How to configure the net send command as in windows in the linux could u plz help me in this regard. Mine is fc3 .

Try smbclient -M computername
(The m is a M and not a m)
You can also use the Talk command (must be installed)

Tried once to figure that out. Problem is that linux doesn't have a daemon process listening for 'net send' traffic. Supposedly there is a service for that, but I didn't figure that out.
