Need to know whats running on port 21


Is there a command to tell me what service is running on port 21 cause i am trying to get my PROFTPD server running on port 21 but it is not working because something is already using port 21..
I have proftpd set to port 420 before and changed it to port 21 and not it does not work.. any help would be much appreciated

lsof -i TCP:21

They do have man pages.

Also netstat -anp for a running service..
