need to connect otcl and c++

i have downloaded ex-linkage.cc and ex-linkage.tcl codes while browsing "ns by example" in google.
i followed the steps involved as follows:

add the object file in makefile then
#make
#ns ex-linkage.tcl

these steps i followed but got error as cannot create objects for the class connected

The ten year old file may not be usable in a modern otcl.
1999 otcl files : written for the gcc / g++ 2.95 compiler.
