Need help with shapecfg working with virtual eth device

I have a problem with shapecfg working with my virtual eth devices. I tried to add a shaper device to a virtual device and it failed. Is there any way to get around this. Maybe make the virtual device boud to a device such as eth2 or something like that. Can that even be done?

I have to split all the BW between several devices and this would be the easiest way.

The command I typed and the responce I got.

:/#shapecfg attach shaper0 eth0:2
shaper: No such device

If you need more info let me know thanks
Rd.
