Angry Need Help with Freesco 0.3.2

First Off Just To tell You I'm a pure newbie at this....
I wanted to make a freesco box not just to have a router but for educational reasons.

How Far I got So far....

Downloaded and installed freesco 0.3.2 on a formatted floppy. And tried to configure and install it...didn't work

I would like to have it on a 486sx,200mb harddrive(which I know is not needed),3.5 Floppy
Not too sure How Much ram..I believe it's 8mb or more
with two isa nic cards I just installed
Both 3com:models are 3c509B-TPO Etherlink 3.

I am pretty lost from here as of setting up the irq's for the nic cards. And just on whole installation itself...Also how to setup the Windows Xp box and the fedora Box?

Just to let you know in advance I would like my configuration to be the ISP>freesco box>Switch>Window's Xp sp1 box also a Fedora Core 2 box..
Also I wanted to Ask If I needed a cross -over cable from the Freesco box the the switch

One more thing I found this 486 on the curb has one problem that I know of.
The Bios Seems to reset itself after Everyreboot.I set the time/date and it reset its self each rebooting..So I'm guessing the battery on the board is dead I don't have another will it be a problem with freesco?
