need help, linux diskless boot


Hello everyone and happy holidays, well I need information on lightweight clients , what I wanna do is : With a diskless computer connect to my slackware box and start a X window.


I've found some information but it is for the redhat dist, is there any chance that I can do it with slack?.

Any information will be helpful.

Hi,

you can do this with every Linux distro Just have a look at /usr/src/linux/Documentation/nfsroot.txt to know how to boot your diskless station
