need help for changing ethernet card
 

sir i have lainux squid cache
made by one expert who is not awalable now and lost the ethernet card by lending to one of my friend
i bring the same card same micronet sp2500r ic number rtl8139c
every thing same because it is my hobby so i write every thing when i bring card no ic no even values of cappasitors and ressistence i note in my record book
so no dout it is same but it is not working
i am unable to open this program didnt have password
so what to do now to install new driver or other ethernet card
for more clerifecation my friend have same made by same person and i have one card work on both pc same new not work on both pc tried on windows to check the card it works for just confirm i bring five same cards no work
un able to open program pasword protected is there any way

When the card is removed, and the box booted, the configuration is removed. You will need to rebuild the box unless you can get the root password.

dear i boot that hundred times and then put the orignal ethrnet card it works good but if replace with same make model it will not work
