ncpmount Netware5

I try to login novell network by this command:
ncpmount -S server /mnt/novell -U my-username
Logging into server as my-username
Password:
after I enter my password it display this massage.

ncpmount: No such entry (-601) in nds login

Is it because Server didn't support LInux?
This server use WinXP/2000 all another client use win98.
I'm only that use linux.
How can I fix this?
Thanks.

Good luck with that one.. I was using ncpmount at my previous employer to mount remote and local netware 5.x servers.. all but 1 worked just fine. The "one" had the exact same error you're getting. I tried deleting/recreating IDs in Netware, resetting passwords, etc -- could NOT get it to go. This all started when the admin in that office re-installed his Netware OS. Doesn't make sense because each of the other offices, including mine, also re-installed.

-- silly question ... You do have IPXUTILS installed on your system and the NW5 box has ipx enabled, right?

I found that I needed to use a fully qualified userid to connect after the account was adjusted to allow easier access to change password from the Windows client.
