NAT ADSL disconnected problem
Hey guys,
I am having this problem. My external is ppp0 and internal is eth1.
Everything boot up I have to add the command under
/etc/rc.d/rc.local
route del default
route add -net 0.0.0.0 gw 219.93.x.x netmask 0.0.0.0 ppp0
route add -net 192.168.1.1 netmask 255.255.255 255 eth1
If I don't add it, my server and all my clients couldn't browse or ping out internal. Well my problem is when my adsl disconnected, and it will connect back to normal. But my routing lost the default as I mentioned above. Is that anyway to solve it? Thank you and have a nice day.
in dial up ppp there is an opton called "defaultroute" that adds the ppp gateway as the default router. I'm not sure how it is set in pppoe but you need a similar option.
