nameserver problem

My apache server puts my web page onto the internet....and I can connect easily to it at 68.209.200.23 but not by the domain name.

I registered the domain giardiafaq.com at Godaddy.

Two weeks ago I went into my DNS records for this domain at Godaddy.

I changed the A record to point to 68.209.20.23 using two of Godaddy's nameservers.

Also, the alias is now shown as www.giardiafaq.com. but....

I cannot connect with http://www.giardiafaq.com www.giardiafaq.com giardiafaq.com etc.

What am I not doing? I assumed that the Godaddy nameservers were adequate and that I did not need to host my own nameservers.

Thanks
