name server in mandrake 10

Does anyone know where I tell Mandrake 10 which name server to use? Browsing is slow as hell, and I've been told it's because Mandrake doesn't know the name server ...

The configuration file is /etc/resolv.conf. You should have one (or more) line like
nameserver 192.168.1.1
where 192.168.1.1 is an example of DNS server IP. If you use DHCP such file should be generated after you connect. If you have 'nameserver 127.0.0.1' at the beginning of the file, remove it.
