Nagios

How do I re-start nagios after changing the hosts.cfg file?

See the "Running Nagios" section. Be sure to verify your config before restarting.

Just execute the following command if there are no errors then start the services
Quote:
/usr/local/nagios/bin/nagios -v /usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg(path should be where you have installed nagios).
you can download nagios pdf manual from their website it is well documented.
