mysql connection on suse 9.1


Hello~
i have SUSE 9.1 and i can not connect to mysql database. It says (the error messsage)

. Any suggestion i have the apache server working version .2 This was moved over (the website) from windows. What does the mysql.sock exactly mean (does). IF you need any more info about the server please repost

Start MySql

The MySql daemon is not started. Try this command "rcmysql start".
