This is interesting, it's showing up alright, but look at this bit:

Can't say I've seen that before! The kernel module appears, at first glance, to be correct. I'm gonna do some quick searches, and I'll come back to you.

Ok, quick thing, I'm presuming looking at your profile that it is ubuntu you are working with? Try doing this:
and give your login password when it asks. Can you only post the relevant section, which relates to the Wireless card. Thanks.

Tell me, is it an Intel wireless card you are using? I mean, can you tell on the card what chipset it uses? It seems that the machine thinks it's an Intel chipset, but if thats incorrect, it probably won't work..

Ok, I just spotted that you have an Intel wireless card, a Realtek Network card and an Atheros Wireless network card in the lspci post from above. You sure your laptop doesn't have built in wireless?

It looks like you have two wireless controllers. What Ubuntu version are you using?

No I aint 100% I got it from a friend and he allways used cables. Also it is so used that the signs on the light (showing whats turned on) cant be readen, so I cant see it that way. Either does it have anything "wireless like",but it could be there somewhere.

I'm afraid 'wireless like' means not alot today! If it's built in, it won't be visible. However, in Ubuntu 9.04 which I run on my laptop also, it should find and configure all of the cards listed in your machine. If not, you should try installing wicd, which is an alternative to the network-manager applet, and it picks up the slack on some cards. Have a go at doing that. Have you double checked in the BIOS that wireless is enabled?
