Must run dhclient at startup for internet

So I installed Ubuntu 13.04, then installed gnome fallback GUI, as my computer can't handle Ubuntu's default desktop very well. However, I've noticed every time that I turn on the computer now, it doesn't directly connect to the internet, and I must run the command "dhclient eth0" every time, which I found by googling for awhile. What can I do to fix this?

To configure your computer to use DHCP for dynamic address assignment, add the dhcp method to the inet address family statement for the appropriate interface in the file /etc/network/interfaces. The example below assumes you are configuring your first Ethernet interface identified as eth0.

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp
