Multiple VPNs and Proxies on Ubuntu 12.04
Hello,
How can the following be configured to run simultaneously:
Puxi.me proxy for BT (for Linux distros)
Two OpenVPN connections (two providers)
JonDos.de
Tor
I would like to have all traffic tunneled through both VPNs, then have web traffic (Firefox, chrome) through JonDos.de and Tor, and have downloads through Puxi.me

Can you clarify your question? It's not clear what the path is that you want your traffic to go. Is the traffic coming back to you each leg before being sent out again, or do you want the third-party providers to connect directly to each other?

Clarification
Sure. Thanks for responding to my thread.
BT client <-> VPN 1 <-> VPN 2 <-> Proxy <-> Peers
Browser <-> VPN 1 <-> VPN 2 <-> JonDoNym server 1<-> JonDoNym server 2 <-> JonDoNym server 3 <-> Tor (sometimes) <-> Internet
Does this help? Arrows (<->) represent the flow of traffic both ways (upstream & downstream).
If you have more questions, feel free to ask.
Thanks!

Traffic direct between third parties such as VPN1 <-> VPN2 depends on whether those third parties allow or have the capability to do such a thing. It is nothing to do with the operating system (Ubuntu).
You need to examine each third party provider to see if it can connect bi-directionally with another third party. I don't know of any that do, but I haven't looked at it in any detail.
An alternative would be to set up your own third party VPN clients and servers on remote VPSs somewhere. If you are trying to get the ultimate in anonymity, that probably won't work because every VPS provider I know of requires your credentials, for billing if nothing else.

padeen,
I contacted several VPN providers, and they said they would be ok with it. But they did not know how to run multiple VPNs at once.
Do you know how to do what I explained in my previous post?
Thanks.

I would read this. Once you have the tunnels, it would be a matter of SNAT and DNAT or whatever for the ports you wanted to send out via VPN2. I mean, this is an assumption on my part. I have never set anything like that complex up.
I think it would be like :
Browser(vpn-client) <->vpn1(client / server) <-> vpn2(client / server) <-> Proxy <-> Peers
At VPN2 you could do port based routing ( like vlan tags ). Thanks to your question I know it can be done now. Sweet. The how to is over at here. Looks like some one else has asked about using MARK as well over here
BT ( torrent yeah?) would be kinda tricky I would think. You could get the trackers, not sure how you would route the actual peer to peer part though. I dont know enough about it.
The first hop would be one client on like a desktop. VPN1 would be site-2-site with VPN2, so thats easy to route out. VPN2 would be where you did the port based routing.
I have never done it before. Makes me want to try though. Seems neat.

Thank you munkz.
When I have a little more time to work on it I'll look into this setup and see how to do it.
Thanks for including those links.
By the way, does anyone else know how to do this?
